This week my new students have been working on the three ways to read a book.
I also created this very simple graphic organizer to help them record their thinking.
You can download my anchor charts and graphic organizer here.

I love the graphic organizer! I have just taught three ways to read a book and my kids are getting it! Besides two students who say "sound it out" instead or read the words. I keep telling them this is a strategy not a way to read. They are understanding though! This is a great way to reinforce!

Your blog is awesome! My DH made me bookshelves...and if I had a little more room he'd be making me one of those "kiva" I believe you called it! Nothing better than a supportive husband to make the world a better place! Keep up the great blog! In this day and age of TPT....it's nice to see someone still passing around great ideas....free! Thanks!
