This fun activity introduces students to using a number line. I had my kiddos cut out the ghosts and glue them to a strip of black butcher paper. My little firsties loved using the little ghost erasers I found at Target to cover the numbers described in the clues. We then cleared the number line before we read a new clue. We are still working on odd and even numbers, so I had my students color the even number ghosts to provide some extra support. This activity is now in my math tubs where students take turns reading the clues to each other.
